theyre basically a spider, there put under arachnaid or some ----. we have them out here where i live (az) but they dont get thet ------ big, may be a different family but we call them sin spiders and the bigges one ive ever seen was only a couple inches maybe 2 1/2.

We used to catch them in Afghanistan and Iraq and put them in little boxes with scorpions and watch them fight. Camel spiders always whupped the ---- out of the scorpions. They are bad *** for sure, but never had much trouble with them when I was in the middle east.
One of my soldiers had one run down his arm in afghanistan when he was reaching for his gear. He flung his arm towards the ground, flipped out his knife with the other, threw and pinned it to the ground. All in about 5 seconds. One of the sickest things I've ever seen. Got a pic of it I'll try and post, but I suck at posting pics, so bare with me.
That's a 5" blade. Small camel spider, only about 2 1/2" to 3", but still scared the crap out of him.

either way i read that they are NOT toxic but jumps (about 1 feet tall) and walks rather quick. what they do is to num you before you can even feel it and then start "chewing" your meat.
I read a story about how some soldiers over middle east wake up found out their hand got chewed up and they can`t even feel it. and what the doctor did is to "scrap" out the chewed up meat so it look level/even lol , cover it up and let it heal, they can`t even stich it up coz the wound usally gets really big from getting chewed.
