If you could get good deals on really sharp knives...
Would you buy them? :S
Apparently I am now a Vector marketer and the product we market is Cutco knives, which as it turns out, aren't pieces of ----. I was actually really worried that I was going to have to ha-rang some poor dope into buying a turd of a product. Any of these knives are far from a turd. Manufactured from 440A surgical stainless steel, these blades boast the title of "The Worlds Sharpest Cutlery" with good reason. The cutting faces of their "D-D" blade are made up of triangular bits honed to a straight edge on each face, which takes the cutting force off of the points. The results speak for themselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrhC0QS2H9E http://youtube.com/watch?v=PompsDbGW7Q http://youtube.com/watch?v=tve6HViOtr8&feature=related Please try this with your bread knife, on Wonderbread: http://youtube.com/watch?v=00OHGb6mXx0&feature=related The knives are backed by a Forever Guarantee, that actually means forever. Should the knife/anything-with-Cutco-on-it fail due to normal use the company will replace it. For free. Forever. Should it somehow get left in the lawn and get run over by the lawnmower after your barbecue, the knife can still be replaced for half of the retail cost. That is what I call confidence in product quality. Quite honestly I don't know enough people in my area (where I moved for school) to get any kind of respectable sales, so if you are a HMT chef, and I know you are, it would really help me out if you placed orders with me-- as you can place them directly with the company online with a local sales rep (Where you have to deal with the guy trying to 'sell' you on the knives :-\), but it's HMT help a Nog out-- should you want to try the knives. Just so you know if you do not like the knives for any reason, or they do not meet your standards you can return them for a full refund within 15 business days. That's business days, so really more like 3 weeks to decide whether or not they are for you. Stevemode you know you want some cutlery. This isn't a "For Sale Thread", simply an inquiry. PM if anyone is actually interested. :l :8 |

These outperform them. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/ar.../t-164889.html A forum isn't reputable but I can't find the test video they showed us today. They put a Henkel and two other top brands on the wear machine in the modern marvels video. |

That guy designed the handle, as well as the F16 fighter throttle grip and the Porsche 911 Turbo shift knob. The grip is seriously awesome.

i'll buy japanese steel thanks. O0 I'd say the advantage Shun has over them is that they are forged as opposed to the stamped metal that Cutco uses, but the price for a comparable set of Shun is close to $800 more because of mark up. This 9 piece is a grand on sale: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/shun-e...t-dm2004b.html We sell our complete Home Maker, with shears and kitchen knives (badass btw), set for like $950. http://www.cutco.com/products/produc...itemGroup=1818 I don't know, it doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. Yes, Cutco is sold by college kids between terms, but that does cut out retailers and keep price substantially lower. Not to mention that they really do uphold their forever guarantee, I've gone through enough consumer reports to fully stand by that. For those who use their knives often, but aren't a professional chef, these knives are the best choice I've seen so far, and I've used all the German blades. I also realize that I know people who've had their Cutco for almost 40 years now and will attest to the customer service as well as the knife durability. I mean I ------- hate sounding like a salesmen, but these do work extremely well. I just used mine to make dinner with, no little gaps for the chicken particles to get stuck in made cleaning them stupid easy. I really like the knives. :-\ |

Mmmm...lol. Sorry not a jew. I'm excited though, I got my passport for the first time today. Was not sure what it would say on it since my birth certificate was from russia, my passport from ukraine, and the rest of my documents were labeled USSR. Came out Russian. Interesting government feces...hmm.
Let me know about that knife though. |

I've had a few people buy so far, so I think I'll rip and dip. Save what I made. Still ------- lame. |
Re: If you could get good deals on really sharp knives...
I'm good with a fork and teeth. If I can't chew threw it then sharper knives ain't gonna help me eat any better. Just stab it with the fork and rip a chunk out with my choppers. >:D
