That's not a cliff. :P We have cliffs out here that make that look like the kiddy cliffs. They're so manly they come with their own crosses and memorials.

Re: If JD jumped off a cliff, would you do it too???
It looks smaller than it is due to how the camcorder was zoomed in. If the video was zoomed out you'd get a better idea of how high it was.
People were claiming it was 45' high, I know it was at least 35'. The first time I jumped it smacked the ---- out of the bottoms of my feet. The second time I jumped I got a little forward twist as I entered the water and it smacked the hell out of the underside of my jaw, and somehow made me feel like I'd had the wind knocked out of me - I guess the water running up my chest tried to push the air in my lungs out? You guys can talk about these other jumps, or "real" cliffs, but there's no way in hell I'd jump off those. Another five or ten feet higher than this one, tops, because the water is becoming hard when you land and there's a potential of getting fucked up if you go much higher and enter the water wrong.
Not that it matters, judging by the large crew I was with and how many of them wouldn't jump... most of you guys wouldn't jump either.

I'd say your 35' if pretty accurate. Cliff I jump off of everyone was claiming 40-45 feet. I grabbed a tape and it was only around 28' (hard to get an accurate measure)
Its been a while since I've seen the local one, but comparing I'd say yours is at least 35 if not maybe 40, and I've fucked myself up off the 28.
Think I know what I need to do tomorrow.

just make sure you keep your legs together... if you dont... it may cost you... dearly.
and be aware that you will probably go into the water about half of what you jump or so...
when i was a kid we used to jump from a big tree over a river and have to spring into the landing on the sandstone bottom with our knees to avoid getting hurt. that water was about 8 or 10 feet, and the jump about 15 or a bit more (looked like 20). i got into a fight with the skipper of this flash boat that the company had its xmas party on when i jumped off into the tide as it backed into its mariner in front of hundreds of ppl. that was a hair over 20ft, good fun at that height, not dangerous at all. i love jumping off high stuff :-)

Heres a pic of Rainbow Bridge in Folsom CA... We used to always jump off this ******... I used to guide the South fork of the American river in CA.. Out of coloma, down to Lake Folsom... class 4 stuff only, but wed pull out and go jump off on our way down to the lake...
Ah good times. Sandals (teva style) are a must for the feet mang...
Its alot bigger than it looks when your up there... Id say every bit of 45 feet+... Gotta watch for wood and ---- coming down the river suspended under the water. Seen some people get FUCKED UP THERE... To answer, If Nancy boy would jump, then yes so would I.
