Hello everyone:
I am new to this and was just wanting some idea's and possible some help with my car. I have an 89' honda civic Si with a 89' crx si motor d16 sohc. I have my head ported&polished racing cam,valves&springs. ported stock intake manifold. cold air intake. useing integra GSR forged pistons at 10.5:1 comp. with integra GRS forged rods. Lightened flywheel. headers with 2.5" stainless pipes to hi-flow cat into a magnaflow exhaust. And a stage 3 racing clutch. I plan on turboing my car, I will by new rods & pistons to drop the comp donw to 8.5:1. I will probably use a T3 that I have from a nissan 300zx, but it needs to be rebuilt first. I was wandering how much psi I could run with my set and how to go about running the oil line for the turbo. Oh and I am purchesing an intercooler for the turbo setup as well. any ideas are welcome thanks |

xeno, read the pinned posts in the forced induction section.
if you have forged rods with hi-comp pistons, just change the pistons. you can get the oil lines and intercooler, actually anything you need here. look in the for sale section or post in the wanted. i would like to see how the gsr internals fit. |

I would be interested in the bore vs. piston diameter also. But guys, don't be queers just because you haven't seen something done before. ::)

alright ---- you guys like I said I was new at this ---- sorry I said the wrong integra my fault. so ---- it but that doesn't mean I don't know anything about my motor I just don't know alot ulike you GOD LIKE honda ------- know it all's. well anyway thanks for the ones that actually said somthing useful for me. but I also think that some are jealous because my all motor civic hatch runs low 13s when I don't ---- up my launch and lowering the compression down to 8.5:1 not 8 this is so I will be able to run more boost through my motor cause at 10.5:1 it would pop like a virgins cherry and I dont want that to happen for somthing stupid like that.

When did you say you ran 13's, and who cares? : ) I never knew gsr's came with forged pistons and rods : ) the nissan t3 is one of the smallest "t3's " ive seen, instead of dropping money on a rebuild sell the turbo and buy a super 60 ; )
