Yeah we had a tech here that purposely destroyed 3 audi engines, was 30min late for work everyday, and was basically trying to get fired.



He ended up quiting cause they wouldnt fire him...

Dude that sounds like where I used to work. I started out detailing boats for $8/hr. Then they found out I could do more so they started making me do oil changes and general repairs while paying me the same base $8/hr. Took them months to give me a raise to $10 which was still about 5-6 dollars less than the mechanics made. As I was working everyone thought I was doing things slowly and other half assed "mechanics" would bitch about it even though they fucked up half the ---- they did. But of course their bitching makes them look like they're better than me. I never made one mistake and every job I did was done correctly but they didnt give a ----... Even the manager who didnt know ---- would even tell me to hurry up. I just got out of there. Never put up with ---- like that. Go to another shop, bullshit with the manager there for awhile, ask if they are looking for more people, then if they ask about your current job (without going into too much detail) let him know they are half assing everything and you dont want to be a part of it (best excuse ever and at this point anything your current job says is not going to be credible) Then quit while you still can... ---- those guys

That's hard work working at a body shop. If you're talented and can do good body work you should have no trouble finding a good body shop where they do good quality work making over $1000. a week salary. Now if you don't have no talent and you're just starting out then you have to put up with idiots til you learn enough so you can work at another shop and not look in experienced.

well im an apprentice and since i only got a few months left im willing to put up with it (once i get my ticket im gold)
yes i like the work and im good at what i do my work speaks for its self
today wasn't that bad (after the argument yesterday i finely got my own big job)
and seams like ppl were impressed how fast i roughed it out and got my filler straight
just confirms what i thought that they they think im just a dumb apprentice that dosent know any thing

but like i said w/e well see what happens and im willing to put up with it for now
