It's actually the exact opposite. Large foreign ones bring the most $$$ (they have the most platinum). They will have bolt flanges on both ends. I worked at a scrap yard the past two summers.

my buddys shop got jacked for 5 one night they cut them off with oxy/acct set up
they'll jack any thing they can around here for scrap

someone around here broke into the cop shop parking lot and cut all the cats off the cars. pretty funny

They came to the local post office with an electric sawzall and cut off all the cats from the postal vehicles.

oem are $$$$$, hi-flow = $.

copper is $3/lb around here, tin is $9/100lbs.

a 2000lb car will get you $270

I was working at a construction site where some people came in at night and gutted most of the runs of electric wire out of 25 houses.
