basically yeah, i was pissed, that was all i needed to worry about was another motor that needs rebuilt

did i see smoke? yeah i did.. do i know why? no, thats why i came on here to get some things to check out

sometimes it`s the car in front of you that`s smoking and u through they are yours after u went thought the cloud of smoke :P

it could have been, went the rest of the day no smoke of what i saw, so maybe for some reason with the hose disconnected it was smoking, or some other weird reason, i'm still gonna keep an eye on my oil / coolant / and every once in a while glance back for smoke

on the other hand i found a local civic for sale, 89 dx hatchback.. 400 bones, not sure if i want to get that or spend it in parts for mine, i guess i should keep it to one project at a time

if it was coolant, the smoke would taste sweet ( anti freeze ) and the smoke would be white. pop your hood and open up your oil breather and rev your car,and if it puffs white, you need ring lands

yeah and you can do this in your driveway, start the car, put it in neutral and rev the engine. then find out if/where it's smoking instead of driving through traffic in your reaview mirror.

Park it in an enclosed garage so the wind doesn't blow the smoke away.

I guarantee you'll have an answer in less than 15 minutes. Problem solved!

Dude that air tube not being hooked up to your valve cover mad fuxord your engine, your timing will never be right ever again and you probly bent your intake valves. Where you smoking a cigarette when you saw the smoke out the back (perhaps it was cig smoke)? If it smelled like burning leaves perhaps you had some burning leaves under the hood. (PS. Can I have some of your posts?)
