The 914 are getting rare, the blocks are skrill if you want to keep it original, and most of the suspension being a direct interchange with 911 has some effects on parts prices.

This is a steal btw!! When my 914 ran (on 3 cylinders), it was super fun to drive even though i could only slide it by downshifting into turns. This piece should be pretty exciting.

Now that I have a nicer car to drive, im considering giving the Supra the drag car treatment and knocking about 5 to 600 lbs off its already 'light' weight hardtop chassis. I dunno. Its not like its a looker anyway, flat black interior with some boxster seats would look decent.

With a choice between the EJ and the stock Type IV, id take the aircooled any day of the week. I promise there are more 700+ hp aircooled running around than there are EJ's. Despite what the magazines want you to think.
