I saw bigfoot today
No not the naked harry guy running around in the woods but a big ass truck pulled up next to me at the light.How big you ask?Well lets see if I can get this right:Ford F350,4door,long bed,diesel,custom tubular bumpers front and back,with like some 40" off road tires(well they looked huge to me)and like a 16" lift.
Whats so special about that you ask.Well I had never noticed how low my car was.Or maybe that ---- was really big couse its wheel hubs were about level with the bottom of my window :o. Then I got to thinking of what would happen if I was to meet this guy at the intersetion when one of us ran a red light. :'( Then at lunch today I read in the paper about a lawsuit going on to try and stop compannies frome making such outrageous lift kits for street trucks after 4 were killed after a "T bone" accident at an intersection between a Jeep Cherokie and a Nissan with tubular bumpers and a 12" lift.No one in the Cherokie survived.They never had a chance.The tubular bumper went through the window decapitating the driver and his 14 year old son.The other 2 people died af "massive force injuries". What are these guys trying to prove.Compensating for something with that huge truck?I have a truck too but I dont fell the need to lift it.I dont really worry about me but it freeks me out that my wife and son are driving around while im at work with these big ass trucks speeding down the road. Here in San Diego the next big thing to rice is lifted trucks.And damm there getting bigger. |

We have TONS of lifted trucks out here. All of them are lifted at least 6 inches. There are a few that are just rediculous and look stupid because they are so high. They don't even have 4wd because the front driveshaft won't clear the suspension. I like trucks and I like off-roading, but when your truck becomes so top heavy that a sharp turn may roll it, that is when you have a problem. You living in California probably see just as many as me. They all come from California down here to launch there 60ft. boats. Fuckers. >:(

I have a 78 Ford, 460 engine, 12 inch lift, and 40 inch tires. I don't have exhaust either so it's ------- loud as hell and my custom bumper is the size of a small car. All you guys that don't like big trucks drive through Longview and I will run your ass over. ;)

las cruces, nm is rated #3 I think for off roading. we have our share of lifted 2 wheel drives that have off road tires that have never seen dirt and are really load on the road. but there are a few trucks, mostly toyotas, that kick ass off road. we've got a place called mule barn 4x4 that sells lift kits and ---- like that, you're only cool if you have a mule barn sticker.

im not a fan of lifted truck DRIVERS, or those soccer mom BITCHES. most of them drive like total ------- assholes and think they can do anything they want cuz they got a big stupid piece of ----. i dont really care about the lifted trucks or suv's, its just the ------- mentality that usually goes with it that pisses me off. many times these people drive like total shitheads. when they pullup to stoplights after they just cut me off, i wanna get out of my car and smash their ------- heads in. usually the ASSHOLES who drive these ARE MIDDLE AGE BALD FUCKS WHO ARE COMPENSATING for something that flip you off and talk ---- after they just cut you off. the young guys driving these aren't usually too bad though. i dont know how many times ive almost gotten out of my car with my bat(yes i keep one in my car) ready to kill the ---- talking old fucks... they forget they are driving a DEADLY WEAPON. these are the people who give me reason not to keep a gun in my car, cuz i know ill use it on them the next time they almost ------- kill me... and its not worth the jailtime.

Well,well,well.I was out early this morning and all of the sudden there was traffic on the freeway.Yes some lfted truck was on its side.It looked like it took quite a nasty roll.Unfortunatly 2 other cars were involved too.Goddam these fuken guys are idiots!

I don't mind a moderately lifted truck but when the fuckers don't know how to drive them or can't see the ------ road thats when i think its to far. If i could only remember how many of my friends were ran down by some dumbass's by soccer moms or someone in a jacked up truck cause they ran a red light and didn't see them. If you use them for offroad and mud ridding i can understand but if you just have them for show your a ------ ricer. This is why i won't carry a gun cause if i ever see one of my friends run down again im shooting the ------ driver. eye for a eye

trucks can be cool sometimes; badass if offroading but i see too many accidents around here. i live in bedford, tx (dfw) and everyone and their little sister drives a lifted truck. this kid at my school who's about 5'2" got in an accident in his huge z71 and actually ran over someone elses car. and just about everytime i drive down to a&m there's a holdup somewhere cuz a dumbass in a dually didn't check their blindspot. that's all just ------- rediculous; if you can't handle it, don't drive it

yeah, i have an xterra too and whenever i drive (not very often), i always get an irresistable urge to fishtail in gravel, grass, dirt etc., run over curbs to make short cuts, and run over small animals. so yes, i think that owning an suv does intstill some type of evil into you.

I just wish these ppl would see that they are supporting the raising of gas prices...The big car companies FORD, CHEVROLET, DODGE,ahem NOT Honda all got together with the oil tycoons and said yeah we'll build alot of BIG, GAS SUCKING trucks and suvs that we'll sell for $25-$50,000 and then you guys can hike up the f@ckin' petro prices 'cause they'll HAVE to put gas into the damn things, ALLLL the time.....economics, whata bitch...

Here in Ohio, the highway patrol is cracking down on lifted trucks. My uncle has a mild 4" on his Silverado and a cop pulled him over just to measure his truck.
Boy, was the cop PISSED when he found everything was legal. ;) |
