i rode a buell XB9 last night...

my brother picked up this 2003 XB9S with only 1300 miles on it a couple days ago off ebay for only $5100US. he had to drive down to jersey to get it but no big deal. he is in love with it. so he let me take it for a quick spin last night when he came over. i'm not a bike guy even though we rode dirtbikes growing up. i'd love to have one to go out riding with my bro, dad and uncle but i'd like to finish the car first. the wife totally loved me on it and when i got back i asked if she was sure she wanted me to get a bike... i think it is a bad idea. we have 2 kids and i want to see them grow up. maybe she wants to collect on the life insurance. :P

my bro's bike in front, my dad's m2 cyclone behind it and my uncle's multistrada in the back. they went to port dover together for friday the 13th... i guess it was just a zoo.

I like the naked look on street bike. Not to mention the sound of the Buells. >:D

just ride save, ware proper gear, don't assume any car on the road sees you and you'll be ok :) I think buels are awesome.

howd she handle? ive never ridden a buell, but so far my favorite bike ive ridden has been a 2004 aprilia RSVR Mille Factory, and i ride a zx9r now. keep er shiny side up and ride cautious and you will be fine

Nice bikes, that Ducati is sweet. d-man and I went to Dover last night, holy ---- was it packed. Funniest thing was seeing a bunch of Outlaw Bikers when we showed up and then once the Hells Angels showed up they dissapeared, i was sure something was going to happen but nope nothing. One set of nasty ass tits and some Gino wanna be got punched in the mouth by a biker, other than that it was one hell of a time.

She wants to collect on the insurance.

I'm sure the wife loves you, bro, but you've already taught your kids how to weld so you have nothing more you can offer them but financial security. Get a bike for the kids' sake.
