r u the one who lives in blaine? the thing is i dont even have the motor yet but i want to build it so i will need pistons and crap, what compression pistons do u have, and what would u suggest for doin to the head, i dont want to go all out but i want to make power so what u think?
kyle I think you need to learn how to quote, but I beleive they are stock and ju-on lives off of 109th probually less than a mile from your place. You don't need to build the bottom end, it will be able to take all the abuse you can throw at it untill you start upgrading to turbos bigger than your head.

/\/\/\ HAHA Skinny did you misquote him too on purpse!!

Yes I live in Blaine, right on the corner of Central and 109th.

The pistons I have are stock 1g pistons, at 7.8:1 compression ratio. The rods I have are the 1g rods which have been proven to take 400hp without a hiccup. The 2g pistons are a slight upgradebut since you're on a tight budget, 1g pistons will work for you without a doubt if you can get some cheap. For the head, just a stock 1g head will flow fine. If you are willing to wait a few months, I will have a stock head that you can have for cheap. Hell if you wait until winter I'd have the block with the pistons already in it for ya! It's the head/block on my car right now, and I'd sell it to you for a good price.

I have a completely stock longblock except the ARP headstuds, and I'm aiming for 400 All Wheel HP on race gas and around 28lbs. I have basically a t3/t4 50trim on there pushin 18lbs on pump gas. A stock long block will suit your needs im certain. Just hop on dsmstyle and ask questions so you can get more then just my opinion. As long as you're polite, have good grammar, then you will have no problems on the site.

lol, he lives right off buchanan st, near the fire station on 109th...literally like a block away from you.

but the junyard said he could get a complete motor and tranny for $400 plus they'll deliver it to his house. I'm guessing that the turbo motor trans. is stronger than the nt tranny correct?..also we are pretty sure that the motor from the jy is shot and needs a rebuild anyways, thats why he would re-build it.

ya i keep misquoting i dont know wtf is up, but we should hook up sometime (not in a gay way, u sick people) since i live on 107th, im not sure if my cars gonna make a couple months, but if i did would it be the complete motor ready to swap or would the block be seperated from the head? i have a decent budget but i dont want to spend more then i have to and i wanted a little higher compression pistons but i might just have to deal with it, if u want give me a call somtime my cell is 763-772-3098 and my name is kyle, hit me up if u want

Do you have AIM? It'd be much easier to talk through there because there so much ----, so many options you have. If you've never been to www.vfaq.com that's a good place to just read up on all the random info there is out there about the cars.
