i pulled a skinnye
i have a non turbo talon that i turboed and i was driving and detonated a cylender and i think i cracked a piston cuz it smokes and shoots oil out the breather filter just like skinnyes honda.

Since your using the n/t 4g63 just toss in the 4g63T, I know there write ups on tooners how to do it. I've even got an ecu laying around + other stuff.

I gotta turbo head and some used 1g pistons and rods, cams and gears. Just don't know the condition of everything yet because I'm still taking the thing apart. Skinnye saw me wrenchin on it last night on the garage floor!! I fuckedthe other engine that's still in my talon on sunday, ------ things.

Well between the two of us we don't have a running engine :1 but what do you need? I'm guessing the budget is little to none?

we are pretty sure that the rings/ ringlands are gone in one cylinder.. He might be picking up a jy 4g63t to re-build here shortly.

If you guys don't already know about DSMStyle, I'd say hit up that site since it's a midwest based dsm site with a majority of it's members based outta the Twin Cities. Check the classifieds on there if you're struggling with finding what you need.

That's not very discriptive, there's a lot of parts in a 4g63. What do you need and I'll tell you what all I have in your list. I have some used pistons and rods. They are still in the engine that's sitting on my garage floor, but wouldn't take that long to get em out I'd imagine.

Yes I live in Blaine, right on the corner of Central and 109th. The pistons I have are stock 1g pistons, at 7.8:1 compression ratio. The rods I have are the 1g rods which have been proven to take 400hp without a hiccup. The 2g pistons are a slight upgradebut since you're on a tight budget, 1g pistons will work for you without a doubt if you can get some cheap. For the head, just a stock 1g head will flow fine. If you are willing to wait a few months, I will have a stock head that you can have for cheap. Hell if you wait until winter I'd have the block with the pistons already in it for ya! It's the head/block on my car right now, and I'd sell it to you for a good price. I have a completely stock longblock except the ARP headstuds, and I'm aiming for 400 All Wheel HP on race gas and around 28lbs. I have basically a t3/t4 50trim on there pushin 18lbs on pump gas. A stock long block will suit your needs im certain. Just hop on dsmstyle and ask questions so you can get more then just my opinion. As long as you're polite, have good grammar, then you will have no problems on the site. |

lol, he lives right off buchanan st, near the fire station on 109th...literally like a block away from you.
but the junyard said he could get a complete motor and tranny for $400 plus they'll deliver it to his house. I'm guessing that the turbo motor trans. is stronger than the nt tranny correct?..also we are pretty sure that the motor from the jy is shot and needs a rebuild anyways, thats why he would re-build it. |

Do you have AIM? It'd be much easier to talk through there because there so much ----, so many options you have. If you've never been to www.vfaq.com that's a good place to just read up on all the random info there is out there about the cars.
