as of yesterday he was in critical but stable condition. he got shot in the ribs w/ a .45, he's very lucky he was still alive when the EMT's got there

Yeah, I just got through page 5 or so... I wish they had those laws here, I could have shot my neighbor lol :P

yeah most states only authorize deadly force if someone enters your home or if they threaten you with a weapon

when i lived in texas i had always heard you could do this but never heard of anyone actually doing it

I was at the outdoorsman type store the other day looking at handguns. I told the guy that I was from California and I was wondering how you get a permit to carry. In California I think only ex cops with lots of arrests can carry concealed guns. The guy laughed and said "You just apply. You don't need a reason to be approved, it's your right."

Your ------- right, These laws should be the same in all states. There are so many thieves that know if they get caught they just get arrested. If death was on the line it would scare away all the punk kids and leave you with the hardcore car theives who deserve a headshot.
