as of yesterday he was in critical but stable condition. he got shot in the ribs w/ a .45, he's very lucky he was still alive when the EMT's got there

 

Yeah, I just got through page 5 or so... I wish they had those laws here, I could have shot my neighbor lol :P

 

yeah most states only authorize deadly force if someone enters your home or if they threaten you with a weapon

they need to change the laws in new york. I think the thievin will fall wayyyy down in my town

 

when i lived in texas i had always heard you could do this but never heard of anyone actually doing it

I was at the outdoorsman type store the other day looking at handguns. I told the guy that I was from California and I was wondering how you get a permit to carry. In California I think only ex cops with lots of arrests can carry concealed guns. The guy laughed and said "You just apply. You don't need a reason to be approved, it's your right."
