I NEED A HONDA HOOKUP!!!!!!!!!
ok so I live in ny and they just changed the emissions regs out here which really sucks .if you car has any check engine lights or codes once so ever you will not pass inspections. unless you are running a 95 and back car with obd 1, I am running a swap in my 97 civic and have a prob I am throwing tow codes one i think i can get ride of secoundary o2 and the other is a 1337 which is a cfp or ckf and i just put in the crankshaft sensor and wired it up or so I think. anyways the only loop hole in the inspections system up here is if you have spent more then 450$ on trying to fix the problem with the code. so if there is anybody out there that works at a honda dealer that could please help me out with some reciepts for a ecm and maybe some injectors and couple o2 sensors all I need is a good reciept. thanks guys or if anybody has any other ideas that would be cool tooo till then I am running on a past due 10 ten day lol and regular past by 2 months haha

Re: I NEED A HONDA HOOKUP!!!!!!!!!
buy a manual and fix the car

Re: I NEED A HONDA HOOKUP!!!!!!!!!
I have a manual and it's freakin weird can't figure why it is throwing that code. I fixe the prob or so I thought. not just a sniffer test here in ny has to be pluged into the ecm and go thru the all systems go and make sure that there isn't a single code. rember this is freakin obd2 it SUCKS!

Re: I NEED A HONDA HOOKUP!!!!!!!!!
True but at least your car is mad leet, shane. My car, i have both o2 sensors unplugged, running boost, still no CEL... nobody cares anyway, esp the state. I love obd-0. So you have an o2 sensor code and what else? Im sorta confused here...

Re: I NEED A HONDA HOOKUP!!!!!!!!!
I thought it had always been for OBD-II that you couldn't have any CEL on?
|
Re: I NEED A HONDA HOOKUP!!!!!!!!!
code 1337 sets when the ecm sees a open or short in the crank sensor. if you got a ohm meter unplug the crank sensor and check resistance on the two outer terminals. should be like 1.6k to 3.2k. if ok check all for cuts in that harness along the side. might have rubed on a belt or something
