Re: i need to find this guy....
All you do is find a place that does car titles.
Title/bond company..---- a title, file a lien.If its been 90 days in your possession, charge 25/50 dollars a day. Longer it stays in your yard, the more you rack up on storage fees. Do some work on it and have a friend or pay somebody at a junk yard to write you some receipts for parts.Charge more than the car is worth. Either way you get your money back or a title. Also it will cover your ass if its stolen. You can car fax a stolen car.All ways look at the vin on the firewall. Its the same in your state.Does not matter if your a company or not.The title company sends out certified letters to the owners and you.Texas, its about 28 dollars to do it.They have 30 days to either pay or forfeit the title. Then the title company can give you a title for a small fee. Every person claiming a lien under RCW 60.04.021 shall file for recording, in the county where the subject property is located, a notice of claim of lien not later than ninety days after the person has ceased to furnish labor, professional services, materials, or equipment or the last date on which employee benefit contributions were due. http://www.allbusiness.com/legal/law.../813475-1.html |
Re: i need to find this guy....
got a question....semi thread jack....but
i sold a running car right at a year ago. its on its 3rd owner since me and im told has yet to be registered. so its still under my name. guy that has it now threw a tag from another car on it. is there some legal way that i can re-aquire this car without straight nog-jackin it. maybe throw a lein on it or what. |
Re: i need to find this guy....
Yes, if your still the owner, you have all the rights over the car.
But if they can provide a bill of sell when you go get the car, or if you signed the title than its a little harder.I would just have a cop and a tow truck to go pick it up. Or if you want to get your name off the cars title,go to the dps office. They have a form for you too fill out, that will do it. |
Re: i need to find this guy....
i figure he still has the title. but if i file for a lost title get that....then will that title overpower the one that i signed and dated. like i said...its been a year since mid-january.

Re: i need to find this guy....
See that's the thing. You have too let a friend or a non family member
claim a lien on the car.Don't claim it in your name. When the letters are sent out by the title company,it will go to you and your friend. Then legally your friend has the first lien on it.He owns it.Go and get a tow truck and repo it.It's so ------- simple. The guy and your old title won't mean ----. He legally owns it.The thing is the guy won't know that their's a lien. |
Re: i need to find this guy....
i have a title i will sell you.
