Sounds like one partition is formatted in NTFS and the other is in Fat32. Format C: SHOULD work. do it on BOTH partitions and then try to delete the partition.

You can't format a disk while you're in an active widows session. You have to make a boot disk and boot to it and then format. Either that, or boot from your windows cd and you can repartition and format from there as well. Kain's suggestion to use partition magic is decent, but you actually have to have it for that to be of any use. There are quite a few things you can do, I usually boot from my usb flashdrive with the necessary utilities on it and do it from there.
Also, Travis, the description of the errors you've given suck. No one can figure out what you're doing based upon that. Give some intelligent details and I'll get you where you need to go. |

put your windows cd in the drive, start the installation and make sure you delete the partition (reformat)
