I can't go through insurance because technically i'm not even supposed to be driving the car it's under my moms name if it was under my name i would be paying more per year for insurance than i paid for the car.

I'd go with the used doors. Put em on yourself, find a new fender, put it on yourself, and then get a paint job. If you don't know how to install those items, find a friend who does, or find someone online who does, read up and learn how. Will save you mad cash.

it doesnt matter who's name the car is under, as long as you are an insured driver, you can put in a claim. All my cars have always been in my dads name and im down as the driver of his work van since its cheaper that way. I crashed my car when i was 17 and filed a claim no prob.

i was kidding about the dentpuller. why doesn't your mom go to the mall, call the cops from her cell phone and write a police report as her being the driver. she could just say she left the car parked there and when she came out it was like that, crashed. then you can file for an insurance claim.

10 grand is cheap i paid 13500(wholesale at the time)and i'm willing to take a 3500 loss rather than spend 4000 then i'm in the hole for 16000 and change from all the bullshit i dropped in it already. In reality if it was anyone else that wasn't on this forum id do it for 12,000 because book on this thing is still around 16ish. I'm gonna talk to my friend who would be doing the work...I enjoy driving the car it's in great shape and it'll run forever i'm just debating weather or not i'm ready to commit to it for a lot longer because if i dump the money into i'm gonna be damn sure i get my moneys worth....

Pic of the aero kit?
I agree with the others, do the work yourself then get it painted. (This is a DIY board.) If you love the car an plan to keep it for years, spend the extra for the kit. You'll regret it if you don't and it will cost more later, since you can have it painted with the replacement parts.
