Ive been working on my motor build for almost a year now and ive been really happy with the deals ive been finding. First i got the ls block for free and the machine shop only charged me 8 bucks to hone and hot tank it. I got an ls crank for 50 shipped. Then i found Aries pistons and eagle rods brand new on HT for 400 shipped. I got a comple gsr head with only 10k on it from a guy in Iowa for only $300. Now i just picked up a SIR II B16 tranny from a local shop with all new gearsets and synchro's for $400. So for just over a grand ill have a nice little motor thats basically brand new from top to bottom. All i need to finish the swap is an LS/Vtec kit (hint hint Stealthmode), an oil pump, timing belt covers, and a crank pulley. Im going to run it NA for a short time while i build a new manifold and downpipe for it and then it will get 14psi of T3/T4 love. I cant wait to get this thing in.

right now im rockin the mpfi d-series as a dd. i just got my b18b1 form Zeniceguycrx two days ago, and im about to score a b16 head i hope. gonna be a build from the ground up for mine. gl with the build man. should kick *** once its done.
