yeah, come to think of it, i was able to get some drifting off in gt3, but gt4 i usually spin out. when i do get to the point of having to counter steer, i either spin out or slow the ---- down. believe it or not, i haven't spent much time ------- with drifting in that game, but i did build an rs6 that did an ok job.

Let me start out by saying that this post is not intended to offend the original poster or anyone on HMT, it is a rant about my personal feelings and experiences when it comes to drifting.
Drifting is the most played out ---- ever, back when drfting started in Japan you had a handfull of guys that could do it, now everyone is a ------- pro.
There is no performance aspect to drifting, a competition to see who can wear out their tires the fasters or who can hold a drift longer than the next guy is not a sport, you can pretty much drift any factory RWD car with LSD there is however, skill involved, a skill that I dont have hence why I dont pose as a drifter nor do I try to drift.
When I had my 240sx I tried it once and only once, I did a 180 and got pissed off and sold the car, since then I bought a civic, swapped in a B18 and have been happy since.
Drifting is not about the skill anymore either, it seems like everyone and their mother drifts now( I swear I saw an 85 year old granny drift her crown vic in the shopping mall parking lot), then there is the ------- posers who think they can drift and they said they practiced drifting in GT4, newsflash buddy, youre not a real drifter.
In conclusion I think drifting is a waste of Time, Money, LSD, Tires, Balljoints, Bushings, Gas, Alligment, Suspension Components...Did I mention Tires? So yeah, if youre going to drive, drive it like its a sport...Drifting is not a sport so dont bother.
