I was just showing how slow torrents are when there is 500 peole downloading the same file..
The only reason i dont like using IRC is because i have all of my performs that happen everytime i connect to a new server... so when i really want something fast i take it to irc. if i have a few days. i'll just download it via torrents.

torrents are awesome. but most people dont ------- seed.. so u get stuck with slow dl speeds unless its something that someone just so happends to be seeding..
try to get hostel off of torrents and ull see..
i know torrents CAN be fast.. but most of the time they arent
with mirc most of the time ur internet speed is what limits ur download speed..
with torrents the ratio of leechers to seeders is what owns you..
i still use torrents.. but only for things i cant find on irc.. like old *** movies.. or when i dont care how long it takes something to download

You don't understand how bittorrent works if you make a statement like that.
You can download a file that has 1 seeder, and say 1000 leechers. That's a seed ratio of .001 and it will still download lightning fast. Leechers upload too. Just because they stop when they've downloaded the file doesn't mean they are hurting anything when they are downloading it. They still help regardless.
i know how it works.. but it still takes forever.. unless someone is a dedicated seeder his upload speeds are going to be slow as hell.. and the worse ---- is when ur getting a file and ur 80% done and the ------- seeder dissapears

If you do not suck at the internet, torrents will own you. Using public trackers is slower, but you access to much greater quantities of ish. You want speed? Give up the *** to a "scener" and get your tricks off FTP. Otherwise shut the ---- up, everything else is capable of speeds in excess of 1mB/s which is more then most peoples providers actually give. IRC was the ----, then napster came along during the hotness era of Warez FTP's (who knew icewarez.com? lol!) and then came IMO the best ----...Direct Connect, and all the ------dom with it, DC++ and all that ----. All P2P bullshit like emule, kazaa, all of those are ----, always were, not on the radar anymore. This is random and useless.
