Re: I just ------- owned my ceiling * STEALTHMODE HELP ! *
looks like no pieces were broken off.. as if they were just pushed up
that means theyre still attached :P
stick needles in those small pieces and pull them down to get as even as possible with the rest of the ceiling then spray accoustic over it..
give it enough time to dry then slowly pull the needles out
but if a piece is broken out.. follow my other directions
that means theyre still attached :P

Ok, I had some DAP left over from working in peoples houses when I was installling, and I pulled that peice down back into the hole, but you can tell that it was pushed up, so If i just make sure this peice stays glued down, can I not just spray a few layers of that accoustic over?

If you have larger area's around the broken piece than you can get a can of spray tex texture. You want the acoustic one. Use the small stray to lay a light base down, and then it looks like you'll need the big straw. After you get the spray texture to look ok, you want to spray outward onto the existing ceiling to blend the new into the old. Let it dry, and go find the white ceiling paint that was used on that ceiling.(it's always somewhere around the house). Be sure to fill the cracks with the caulking before you spray the texture. Cracks come back through everything except drywall tape, or expandable silicone caulking (Alex super +)
Remember that it's a patch. No patch ever comes out exactly. What you're trying to do is blend it so it's not noticeable.

Now that I wrote all of that you post a picture. :P
Don't spray the texture on it. It won't match, and you'll end up with more work to make it look good. What you wanna do now is what the picture I drew shows. That will make it sit flush with the ceiling and you'll be good. That ceiling has been painted, and the texture is thick. If you spray it with a can the texture won't match anymore and you'll have to paint it only to see that you should have just listened to your big white daddy.
