I just had an interesting idea

Okay you know how everyone wants a friggin' adapter plate for their hf-to-t3 or 14b or whatever. I had an idea, what would happen if we made an adapter plate out of wood? Would it work? Cause wood won't melt, it'll burn but won't melt. But will it even burn if you use one? Hmmm.... interesting.

Oh by the way, I'm not actually gonna do this, I was thinking about making some adapter plates, and using wood as a model came to mind, and then I somehow came up with this other stuff. ;D

It might work for a little while, but your car would probably smell like a camp fire!

the ignition point for wood is found here http://www.tcforensic.com.au/docs/article10.html
youll see that the temperature coming out of your exhaust manifold will obliterate any kind of wood you use as an exhaust medium. good luck.

Hey man dont let this get you down.... try ---- out and experiment... but im just telling you it wont work. I mean for ---- sake, the guy who invented the running shoe tried time and time again till he perfected the right combination of rubber and he was working with a waffle iron. So i guess its just trial and error for anything.

But they do make engines out of metal for a reason

It was just an idea folks. Just a thought. Like I said I'm not gonna do this, but you guys are free to test my idea. But having a camp fire is tempting. :P

thats great you could use a 2X6 piece of pine, make sure to have some marshmellows handy for the fire that you will start.
