i have a neon
i just got a manual 2003 neon sxt and i want to do stuff to my car but that would be most effective and some what costly, like exhaust, CAI, turbo
and im guessing there is more like the idler pully thing and does that wear dont things more and faster but im kindof new at this and i know some stuff plesae help me!!!

The first things normally done is intake header and exhaust. Just take some time and read through some forums and find what you want to do. Youll also find out what products best suit you. Sit back and just read for a while. Then ask questions when they arise. The people here are very helpful.

Don't waist your money on a CAI and header if you think you might go turbo in the future. Figure out what YOU want first...

List of things to do:
1) Sell the Neon.
2) Buy a used Honda Civic
3) Go to Pep Boys and buy $500 worth of dope *** gear for your new ride.
4) Go buy Super Street and Import tuner.
5) Buy a 75shot Nos system and fry your engine
6) Now you got to rebuild that car cuz you still owe $3500.00 on it
7) Read all you can on HMT and learn that you can rebuild that engine and turbo it at the same time.
Go to bed every night dreaming of your new engine set up.
9) Finaly relize that you should of kept the 03 neon and worked on something else. So you will always have a ride to work. And as we all know work pays for the ****, beer and THE HACK :P

Seriously CAI and Header dont go with turbo..well you can modify a CAI to filter your turbo....but thats besides the point...
Read about turbos and ---- before you ask silly questions like that. There is plenty of info on how to make your car go vrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmm for not too much money

You should bring it back, and if you really want a neon buy the sRt. You won't have to worry about cai and headers, or boosting it. Already Boosted so the work and decision making is done for you.
And it's also Chrysler's second fastest production car, behind the Viper. 0-60 in 5.6sec 1/4 mile in low 14's might even get close enough to kiss the 13's. And if that not fast enough, but a cheap *** boost controller and turn it up.
