holy ---- it's about ------- time.
i know it's gonna pay like ----, but right now i need anything.
i've been without a job since the end of sept.
so today at 3pm i will be at toyota trying to get a job as a lube tech.
someone i worked with at carmax got fired and got a job at this toyota. i'm hoping he is still there, but i'm not gonna mention his name till i find out he is in good standing. he got fired from carmax for lying on his hours.

i'll say that i worked with him at carmax. i'm sure the boss already knows we both worked at carmax so that is a given that i know him. i'll act surprised that he works there, if he still does...

i just talked to the guy, bout 10 mins.
first time i've ever choked in an interview. i don't even remember what happened or what i said.
all i know is i failed hardcore.
in the dictionary under "interview fail" there is gonna be a picture of me.

i guess it's not over yet though. the last thing he told me was how much an hour and that my hours will be different every week. he asked if that was ok.
he also told me he has 50 applications/interviews this week and over the weekend he is going to get rid of a lot of them and call a few people in for a second interview. he said they have 3-4 positions available.
he also told me that it would be good for me cause they like to promote from within. he started there in 93 changing oil. i told him i've been trying to find a place to get my foot in the door for the last 5 years.

i don't know why he would have told me that if he thought i failed as bad as i thought i did.

when i used to interview people and i knew right away they sucked i would just tell them "well i have a few more interviews, i'll call you in a few days if you get the job"
i wouldn't go into details like he did.

hope i can get a second interview and not choke this time

man i had an awsome interview back in december.

heres how it went:
go in and turn in a resume and talk to the manager of a local health care supply company.
talk to him for a bit and we hit it off.
he tells me to fill out the application while he goes to his office and calls the regional manager to set up a meeting with her.
he comes back in and says that she is gonna make the hour drive to meet with me because he thinks im perfect for the job.
tells me to come back the next day at 30.
i go back and meet with her, the interview goes better then i could have ever imagined.
they end up taking me around the office and showing me where the bathrooms are and introducing me to everybody that works there and showing me where ---- is kept and explaining hours and when benefits kick in and what all is covered.
then we go back to his office and just BS for another 15-20 minutes.
both said they think im perfect for the job and they will be getting back to me in a few days.
guess what? i didnt get the job.
talked to a friend and her sister works there and says they are still interviewing for that position.

just goes to show you that you can never really tell what their thinking. you never know that guy might have already decided that he wants to hire you.

been milking the umemployment with part time cash sales, plus craigslist/ebay sales making the same amount as what i did when i was working 50+ a week

in the state of PA you can work 31.9999999 hours and still get unemployment
