---- its nice to dream there's other things that are more important than ur car like a good education and college then u can afford to spend money on ur car and then u probably will have enough money to buy a S2K or BMW or Mercedes

Pete Estremera aka Trickturn aka Pest on various forums, co-owner of www.carolinahondas.com, has a 97 HX with B20/VTEC... dyno'd at 184 to the wheels, weighs 1450 lbs w/o driver, turns flat 14.0 on street tires with something always going wrong and flawing the runs... he's dropping the reputedly 220+ whp Honda Challenge B20/VTEC he just built into the car as HC changed some rules not allowing flycut pistons. I respect Pete, and what he's done to his HX, so ignore these foolios. That D16Y5, and the wiring in your car, are oddballs. If you have any questions or problems resulting from any swapping around you try to do, Pete is the guy you want to call for help. |

yeah its suppose to be an ultra economy car but they used light alloys instead of steelies and power everything and u can usually find them to be cheaper than a comparable DX. i think people confuse the power output of the HX because the 92-95 CX and VX had to provide less power to save fuel but the HX used technology instead to provide more power and fuel mileage. ---- so u get Vtec, more power than the DX,CX,LX(only 9hp though) and the best of all great gas mileage.
