I have a ------- virus.
This is the first time I have evr gottena virus and I keep getting popus from windows saying what it is doing and telling me to scna for adware and all kinds of ----. this is annoying as hell. I'm downloading mcafee right now...How the hell did I get a virus when I'm on a firewalled,wireless network? wtf

If you post some specifics on what message the virus says, what the titlebar says of the popup, etc., I will try to help. My woman had a bitch of a spyware and it took me a few different tools+additions to those tools to remove it. Clever *** spammers these days, death to them.

McAfee tells me I have a Painter trojan and the "New Malware.j" trojan. the malware.j trojan is in a write protected file named C:Windows\system3winsrv32.exe. I tried to delete the file, but the computer wont let me. I get a popup every few minutes saying the system is going to shiut down in 60 seconds and starts a countdown. and I keep getting the little security alert at the bottom right saying I have a virus and to download some free ---- form somewhere. I get another popup from windows security center saying "Danger: spyware activity detected on your computer!" and has the option to do a free scan or close the window,and both buttons have the same result. it takes you to that damn website for the free download. It takes me to www.antispylab.com
This is getting hella annoying. I'm gonna let mcafee scan while I sleep. Thanks for any help guys.
