i have a dizzy drive gear in my oil pan, can i start this shit up safely?

i need to know, it's a ford inline 6, the retaining pin for the drive gear sheared for some reason, shitty gp sorensen reman parts were on the truck when i got it. truck stalled saturday, thought i was out of gas, couldn't restart it. gassed it, no start. AAA it to the driveway, go to pull the dizzy to replace module and ---- inside, and my shaft spun around in circles. drive gear also clunked into the bottom of the pan. whats the worst that could happen if i start this, other than bending a rod or something? the strainer vacuum should hold it in place i suppose.

just start it. its probably one of the ------- ford 4.9 junks right? a rod isnt going to come anywhere near it.
