So i thought i finally "finished" the hmt kit on my 85 mr2 which i thought was pretty decent
-ebay manifold
-garrett 60 trim t3
-440 injecters
-a2w intercooler
-megasquirt

well i took him out for the first time last night and everything was going great, got about 3-4 good sold 10psi pulls out of the car then it happened the worst whine i have ever heard, at this point i'm thinking boost leak so i turn around and head back to the shop and about half way there the wine turns in to a horrable scraping noise, well the turbo is toast compressor is pretty F'd up but i gess ---- happens.

O yea same day i get in a pretty big fight with the guy i rent the shop from and get evicted so yesterday was a great day to be me lol

When i pull the turbo i'll get some carnage pics

Thats sucks so bad. I bet the pictures have to show som serious carnage. Hope it's the turbo and not the engine. Good luck.

lol yea my cars a he, lol just look at his name MR. 2

yea i was running a very conservitive base tune my afr's where in the low 11's when it happend and i think i was at like 18 degrees total timing lol so i think i just got a bum turbo


Luckly my intercooler caught all the big chunks and nothing was damaged
