I was actually thinking about some of the things you told me a while back when we spoke about the R/S ratio, and why you believe it's B/S ratio. Very good insight, and I was wondering what sort of literature I could find, that leads me in the same direction, slightly more comprehensively... Reccomendations?

Thinking like everyone is over-rated. Think for yourself, and if it leads you to more common beliefs, don't deny it for the sole purpose of remaining different. Sometimes the multitude gets things right... Sometimes they don't.

Not even God himself would make anyone believe something. It's not about forcing anyone to believe a certain way, for me, it's about planting a seed, and moving on. If the seed falls on stony/rocky/dry ground, it will not grow, but on fertile ground...

That's funny that you would presume stuff about my life, especially this.

perhaps, but only for the reasons I'll point out in a second.

I have to apologize over this one, it's not my place to judge anyone else, I let my feelings about how verbally abusive you were being toward my religion to get in the way of how I should have felt. That it's your desicion to do what you want in your life. As a point of note, it's never the people coming to your door that are going to be the ones that make you want to take Jehovah into your life, it's Jehovah himself who will determine your heart condition and draw you to him through someone at your door.

Now on to my second point, again I shouldn't have said anything about your daughter, simply because to most people, that is the most precious thing they have in their lives, I hope to have children in another couple of years, but even now, with my wife- she's my family and I will do anything to protect her.
In our religion we believe that the righteous will live forever upon the earth in a perfect state, seems like a nice prospect. There are a lot of idividuals that beleive that once you die that's it, and you need to make the most of the life you do have right now.
So because I beleive what I believe, I have a hard time thinking about people who have kids not trying to find a way that their kids might have a better prospect than simply living out the life they have.
Again the problem with this is, it's what I and 7 million other Witnesses beleive, not what most people beleive.

So it does boil down to making your own choices and I'm sorry I let my irritation show.

Just try to not be so verbally abusive, is it annoying? probably to you guys. Is it really so bad that you should yell at people who are just trying to do their best in this system? Not really.

theres only one issue of the Quran. its in arabic and if you want to criticize it. learn arabic and read it in arabic not some twisted translation...

alot of people convert and learn arabic and get even more attached cause reading it in arabic u get it in its pure form lots of ---- has manny different meaning and english is a fucked language
