I once had a problem with this mormon couple coming buy my house week after week, so the last time they came by, I invited them in, locked the door behind them, put on some **** on my big screen (I swear they didn’t even bat an eyebrow to it), started smoking bong loads and blowing smoke in there face's, but you know what, those ******* put up with my B.S. for about 20mins, I think the only reason they left was because I turned up the volume so high, they could no longer talk to me over the moaning and clapping noises. Needless to say they never came back, but I think the bible thumpers put up a pretty good effort. And the chick was

usually whent hey come to my house they ask to see my parents, and i tell them my 17 year old self lives here alone. then they start with the religion and i tell them im athiest and we get into a half an hour argument about god and ---- and then they just give up and leave. they havent been here in along time. but be respectful dont be a ------- dumbass you just look like an ignorant moron

I attend an Undenominational (spelling?) Christian church regularly. Besides the obvious flaws in the JW's and Mormon doctrines, they do a great job of ------ing their religion. JW's stepped it up in the last 5 years or so, overseas. Mormons and JW's can be the nicest people you'd ever meet, and never know it. They help when you need help, feed you when you're hungry, and are just willing to do pretty much anything for what they beleive.

I just hope that Christians can step up their faith in the same manner, while still holding tight to what the bible says, not some other doctrine. Not necessarily door to door, but living the life, day to day, the bible calls us all to live.

I can see your points, but I just think about it from my point of view... I've got something that's more wonderful than anything else, ever. Like a turbo'd LSx in a 2 seater go cart, lol. It's just something that you've got to share...

I've had some seriously powerful experiences with hallucenogenic drugs that made me feel for weeks afterwards that I was bursting with joy, and light, and that I had a purpose in the universe. Every last one of my drug experiences was both more fulfilling or logical than anything I've ever heard out of the mouth of a bible thumper.

where i used to live they would always come around. we used to party at my firends house (pretty much and apartment behind his parents house) and when they would knock on his parents door they would send them back to his place, i would answer the door with a bong/joint in my hand just puffin away. seemed to do the trick. i really don't get many people coming to my door anymore for anything, hell i think i got 2 trick or treaters this past holloween.

but i do hate when people try and push their religeon on others and the **** who put the gay paper on everybodys porch and nobody reads it. i used to throw it back at the kids that put it there.

There's your clue. Those "feelings" didn't last. And, looking at what the "bible thumper" is saying, and not trying to receive any message trying to be delivered. A lot of times, people will look at Christians as hypocrites. But, if there's a Christian claiming to be perfect, they don't actually need a savior, now do they. (totally going against the Bible's message, lol) Only One was perfect, and He's the one I've got faith in. "What year is it?" Think about that one...

A buddy of mine says he's never been convinced of anything the Bible says. I've never said it directly to him, but if he was relying on another to bring him the truth, then there's something wrong. One must seek the truth for himself.

I went in to the church looking to learn what it was all about, and never left. Not because I'm "accepted" or whatever else, but because there really is a purpose to life, and there is a promise for those who accept this purpose.

And, I've never been one to approach somebody I don't know and start bashing. My Example never did that either. If I do approach someone I don't know with hopes to speaking to them about God, I'll let the situation develop the way God wants. Sometimes the lesson is for me, and maybe patience is what I should have practiced. But EVERY time I'm led in that manner, and the conversation leads that way, the person recognizes why I'm there. Not that I'm special; I'm not. But my job is, I think.

I guess I sort of got off track. The reason I shared that last part is to show my opinion about JW's and mormons, and their door to door "witnessing".
