i hate kids who dont know what they are talking about
 

so my friends little brother, hes 16 wanted a fast car i guess. he bought like a 1999 or 2000 gsr, it had a turbonetics turbo kit on it and some other ----. i go to see it, its a nice ------- car. a little ricer but it looked nice. i asked what turbo kit he had he said "stage 3 t3 t4." was like thats not a turbo kit, thats the specs of your turbo, he continued to argue with me until i proved him wrong,. so you think with that nice of a car youd have some good fuel managment, nope. he had no idea what fuel managment was. so i pointed out his awesome fmu that he had and the safc which he thought was a turbo timer. (the turbo timer was below the afc. he said its making 350whp, with that turbo kit, stock motor and 8psi. i was like yea ok. sorry for the rant but i hate people who buy nice ---- and dont know anything about it. i can wait till he blows that motor, he wont even know what happened

I hate that too. I was at school the other day looking at the picture of the intake I bought off of Gurusan's post and my buddy was like "60, right?" And I'm like.. wtf? He goes "That'll add about 60 horsepower, right?" :-X Ah well. Just let him blow up his motor then buy the car off of him cheap.

That's why I can' talk to people abotu cars around here. A couple weeks ago this guy was telling me about how I need a turbo timer and how important they are and how they will add so much life to my turbo. I told him I paid $150 for the turbo and I couldn't give a ---- less if it lives another week and takes s ----.

I've also talked to people who claim to be making 600whp in a 2200cc N/A motor with a few basic bolt ons. ::) I just ignore and refrain from talking to people about cars anymore. I can't stand it. :-\

I got the same question when I had my civic.If they were that important all the OEM turbo cars would have them. ::)

Some local dude asked me how much power my car had.. I told him it was putting down around 200whp.. he said "oh mines putting down about that much with the intake and exhaust" (stock b16). ::)

oe's dont have turbo times because they use water cooled terbows :)
