I would also like to point out that business especially just retail parts is almost impossible to work in this day and age unless you just want to make a couple extra bucks on the side. I have a small product line of retail but they are the best stuff out there and the buy ins where ------ crazy high to the point I had to sell off alot just to even make them happen aka finishing my drag car.
Nothing wrong with just saying the hell with it. Unless you have some unique products,services etc you just fall into that its not worth doing it crowd.
I have my days I want to say ---- it go use my degree and sit in an office but thats not my style.

Better be ready to do some damn big investing aka 5K+ in wastegates and blow off valves. This is why most people just dont want to bother with it and I dont blame them.
Im all over the place and much more succesful in the non performance part of my business. Doing port work selling performance parts barely pays for my oc addiction let alone a living
The honda racing scene is way slowing down making business more of a part time thing than a full time thing.

i am expecting to dump a load of cash on parts. i hope it works out. i also plan to keep an eye on things before i do it. if it looks like this country is getting worse and fun with cars is taking a back seat, then i will re-think what im doing. i have no intentions of screwing myself.
i am also looking into other means of making money. it does seem very difficult to make a living doing anything performance related. the wheels have been turning for a while

No way things are turning around. Every company I deal with for performace parts is hurting laying off workers/switching back to offering timing belt changes etc type of work
Economy is in the tank and only going to get worse. California is basically what drives the us economy and this place is falling apart
Not trying to be a party pooper but the way things are going not to sure people will be throwing away cash like that did before. Actually there is no way
Heatings,gas,food etc are so damn high it doesnt just hurt the poor anymore the middle class is going to have a horrible winter with heating costs.
