The gf paid $1250 for a 92 model with the clearcoat coming off and 225K miles. It's pristine in every other way, though, super nice car with a stack of maintainence receipts.
That era *manual trans* 626 or MX-6 are ------- cockroaches... you drop the bomb and they survive to inherit the earth. That car will last as long as you change timing belts, oil, and clutches. If it weren't for the rust it would be worth every pennyof the asking price, and given what the average repair bill at a reputable shop is + what seethig piles of ---- most new cars are it may be worth the asking price anyway.
