I HATE COPS!
 

Heres the scoop. im driving at the highway in our town and then i see this unmarked cop look at my grill, im thinking ---- can he see the intercooler but then im like no plate ----! anyways i got pulled over and a 53 doller fine and 3 ------- POINTS OFF! can i fight this in court should i try? its not a fix it ticket either.

having to have front plates wow that sucks. Seeing how its not a moving violation and driving school isnt a option i say fight it and hope the cop doesnt show up. if you fight it he might not show up then you dont have to pay, so if you dont fight it your going to have to pay anyway so why not try to get lucky ?

and use a lawyer. at least you can save yourself the points and the record if nothing else, which will save you alot of money in the long run with insurance and ----.

I had $350 worth of tickets one time, speeding, insurance, bullshit etc etc, and went to court to see if I could get it lowered and the cop didn't show up. I was so ------ happy, it's funny cause my step mom got a ticket from the same cop and she paid hers. hahaha. owned.

i got a fucken ticket 2 weeks ago. i made a u turn at a red light and a state trooper saw me. i could've sped off cause he was on the opposite side of the street, so i was going north and he was going south. so i just slowed down to 5mph til he caught upto me and he said i was doing 60 which i was, no seatbelt either. i was going to the autozone to pick up an o2 sensor for my wifes car and she had to go to work in 30minutes when the cop pulled me over. i just got the ticket for running a red light, the trooper wasn't that bad. i hope he doesn't show upto court.

Im not sure if its the same for your states but in california, CHP and Cops get paid to show up to court, so if i was you i wouldn't count on them not showing up. Who do you mean by 3 points off?

my neighbor is a cop, he told me they shcedule the court days on their days off. He said he never realy goes lol

you know its really easy to have a front plate on and make sure all your lights work and go the speed limit.. you cant blame the cop for doing there job and you being a dumbass braking the laws. ::)

Ya I got pulled over in Canada. My Front Plate was bent(It was RIGHT in front of my IC) So he pulled me. Did a complete inspection. Ground Clearance, Muffler Baffling, Thought my Turbo Timer was a Radr Detector, Horn, Tire to inside fender clearance. You name he Checked it. What did he Charge my with. My Car is Yellow with a black hood and My Registration say my car is black! 110 dollar fine. no points!! SUCKS. Now I run the front plate in my windsheild!

The only problem with that is some people have to work during the day which means they would have to take time off work, which sometimes isn't an option. Not only that, taking time off work means you aren't making money which defeats the purpose of trying to fight the ticket to save yourself the money. I got a ticket out of town once which totalled $820 and I paid every bit of that $820. It would have cost me a day off work, gas money to drive out of town to go to court, the risk of getting even more tickets on my way there, more miles on my car, risk of breaking down, blah blah blah. The shitty part was I was on my way to jail for the weekend for a previous violation. That was so ------- cool. I got a $820 ticket on my way to jail. Top that.....

I usually just go to the courthouse a day or two after I get a ticket and cut them a check. ---- making payments. That gives them a chance to ---- up and issue false warrants for your ass(yes that has happened to me).

I had mine there for a few months. I got 2 warnings, one from a Peel cop and 1 from a MP (Military police) >:(

It now resides in the OEM spot.

I put my front plate in the windshield and had it like that for 1 and a half years. Cops looked my direction but never bothered to pull me over. But then I got a carbon fiber hood and still had the plate in my windshield, and in one week I got pulled over 3 ------ times dude. not having your plate on just gives them a reason to bust you. Just put it on there man.

Anybody have a reason why they make you have them on front? Some cars just look fucked up with plates on front. Vettes for example. A gay ass license plate on the sexy front end of a Vette looks like ass.

I never put a front plate on, if there was one I took it off. It just looks booty.

I dunno know why they want the front plate, I think someone explained it to me before but I forgot :P
