So as of today the car tax(registration) wil tripple here in Cali. >:(.Yes tripple.This means some people will have to take out a loan to register there cars...lol!I have 3 cars so I think Im fucked :o.Its getting real hard to live in Cali now so we might be moving soon.This fucken state is a joke :'(

Well California is just to expensive to live in. Someone is getting ------ rich on insane taxes like the car tax. I can see a slight increas maybe like 10-15 percent a year but 300 percent is crazy. Then housing by the time I'm out of college a descent 3 bedroom in la/sd is 500,000+ and that's not even a nice house. My mom just sold her house in the Bay Area in vallejo for 450,000 for a 3 bedroom house with almost no yard and it's just a typical small one story. Moved to vegas and bought a 5 bedroom for 225,000 w/a pool. Cali is a cool place but i think once I finish my degree I'm gone. It's only going to get worse.

I hate California too. I know that everything is here, but sometimes you just want to live life. ;)

Don't worry about the cartax, one way or another it will be turned over, whether arnold really does it, or if we have to do it through petitions (which have already begun). I know it would suck to pay it, but everyone will get their money returned to them once it is overturned. I know this, because I am involved with KFI am640 and the www.NoCarTax.com website where you can have petitions sent to your house. Hurry, time is running out to turn them in (approx. 80 days), and if you say you really hate this ----, don't tell us, show us. ;)

Well, since you overpaid bastards make twice as much as us sorry bastards here in AZ I don't feel sorry for you. :P Just think, if you move here, your car tax will be maybe $300? cheaper a year. Ok, but now you make 10,000 less a year. It kinda evens out if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not for the tax hike at all, I'm just saying that the people that live there make way more money than people here so they should expect to pay a bit more for things. Maybe not 300% tax hike, because that's just rediculous. :-\

no pay for medical bills :o i wish i knew that earlier, i have 40k dollars worth of delinquencies on my credit due to a knee surgery that i had when i was 18, fucked for life for something that happened to me when i was a teenager :-\

lmao, yah we get FREE medical, but we pay for it bit by bit in our taxes.

my pay check is gross $1400 for two weeks. I actually only take home around $1g. Damn taxes.

You guys are complaining about car taxes, cry me a river, you don't want to even HEAR what insurance rates are like in Ontario Canada anywhere near toronto.

What do u guys and gals pay per month or per year for insurance???

I'm in Arkansas and paying about $75 a month for liability on an 89 crx si. Just turned 25 today and am waiting to hear what it is now. It would have been like $120/month for full coverage, what a rip.
Speaking of paychecks, I gross 430/week and take home 330. And that's with no insurance being deducted as I have no benefits.

1990 crx dx, im 21, liability only, $150 a month, in las vegas. thats AFTER like 5 discounts (good student, no accidents, been w/ the company for 5 years, etc.). i was paying $180 before i reached my five years. depends where you live at, i think most big metropolitan cities youre gonna get RAPED without the lotion on insurance.

Damnnn..and I'm complaining about insurance..I pay about $73 a month and am 21 and have a '89 EDM CRX that is suppose to be faster than your CRX Si'.
But where I used to live at insurance was like $300 a year :P
