I guess its ok if i show you my ride.
So i have been talking about my rx7 here and there a little bit without ever realy showing you guys any pictures.
so... here are some pics...
when i first got the engine...
her is my car as i first got it...
engine ready to come out
Initially when i first got the engine, i realized... ----, i dont have any nuts and bolts or an intake manifold or gaskets or anything. this is a brand new core so i wanted to get some nice ---- for it.
then my friend got into a massive car accident and totalled his rx7 vert. i got his turbo and his haltech and 1600cc injectors.
bnr stage 1
engine freshly taken out
new engine ready to go in.
now it looks like this.

Nice rx. My FC was an 87 GXL with the turbo swap. The car was fun, but almost as unreliable as a dsm, even with a fresh motor. Had it not been my daily driver, I would have enjoyed it more I think.

I need to get this badboy tuned, broken in, and the boost cranked it.
Its got a stock exhaust and whatnot, so it sucks, but for breakiin and at 6 psi, its a pretty nice car. i have no problem passing allot of cars on teh road now. before honda accords used to **** me off at how fast they where. now they just get reeled in.
once i get a proper exhaust on it, ill assume that break is is done, get new sparkplugs, new oil, and ill slap the EBC on it, and slowly tune it at 6 psi a lil more, then at 10 psi, then at 14 psi.

they can be reliable. but i dont anticipate this thing lasting too much longer than 20k or 50k miles. then it will blow, and i will go with a ---- ton large street port and a gt42r.

---- rotaries blow so easily its not funny... i wish mine never did. i do miss the car and will never forget it thats for sure. i still have some parts left over from the shell, and i sure as ---- kept the rims and tires for myself. damn near new and mint to boot!!

I had my fair share of dsm bs. I got tired of rebuilding transmissions. Id rather rebuild a honda engine than a dsm tranny.
