my old vtec head rubbed on it too. I'm using billet hasports. I still have the material heat shield thingon the hood, and that's what it rubs on. I'm sure it would rub the subframe if I took that off.

Go JDM with it and lift the hood using washers/spacers on the hood hinges. ;)

that's what i have :8 like me and at least 5 other people around here. it's how we do it in west seattle :6

Some peopl around here do that. I'm not so sur eI want to. I think I'll just cut the skeleton out of the hood. lol. ---- structural rigidity. ^-^
