glad 2 hear u had a good season none of our cars are from 1991or newer. ill be building a car for ice racing next year. 90 dx should be fun. gonna run a turbo on the 1.5 or do a ls swap depends on the bankrole

Doesn't your club have some sort of "no contact" rule? I'd slug anyone that intentionally rammed my car, ice racing or no.
My attempt at teh ice racing didn't work out so good. I bought someone else's basketcase car and didn't bother sorting out it's problems. That was a recipe for disaster. I only finished one race out of the 3 I paid for.

buk: the fwd cars tend to kick major *** in ice races. "paseos or older corollars are sex in the ice" ?
RWD cars are at a disadvantage. Sad fact of the sport. Golfs, Tegs, Tibbys, Neons, and Civics are the dominant cars around here.

there is suppose to be a no hitting rule but dumb ------s get pissed off or dont know how to drive and it results in a quarter being pushed in or a door not opening as well as it should have. ice + dumb ------s= one or more fucked up 80s civics at least where i race

Sounds like a good time was had by all!
FYI, just toss that MSD in the ******* and run stock distributor, known good to 600 whp. As in stock/OEM, those aftermarket reman units have junky ignitors and coils.

I don't really keep track of the weather but it seemed like a milder winter in the cities, did that affect the race locations at all? Good read though.
