*half a rant/half what would you get next*

All dam weekend long I spent cusing at that peice of ---- toyota. It is the most worthess designed pile ever. I ------- hate it. With that said, its gonna be sold. I still havent got the new clutch in (gotta order a different one) so the tranny is out...that toda didnt go in. (same spline count, different size spline. go figure ::))

So im torn between 3 cars. What would you get.

-I found a ZC auto CRX for $1,000 plus it needs a GOJ inspection. another prolly $400 but it is built for gymkhana (autocross) (pretty decent condition)
-I found a SiR II EG (B16) for $2,000 GOJ good for about a year and a half. (needs paint, but in good condition)

-the car im battleing thoughts over is a 180sx/ sr20det for ~$1500 needs GOJ. (kinda "junkyard style") it does have cusco "drift suspension" all the way around.

After working on that POS Toyota, I dont really know that I wanna go anything but a honda. Hondas are easy to work on, Im pretty knowledgeable on them. On one side, honda parts arent easy to go pick up around here (contary to belief) and on the flip side Nissan parts are like tits. They are everywhere and plentiful. If I break something, its a matter of running to about any shop and getting a part. Huge power can be made easily with the det.

I just dont know. The next car I get, I gotta keep for a year. I cant get rid of it. (rules)

Actually it's a Levin if I remember correctly.

I have a Toyota Levin. Same motor as the AW11 MR2. 4ag-ze

The car has tons of potential, i just dont want to give it to it.

just learn how to work on the toyota, i'm sure you didn't know ---- about honda's when you got your first one, you had to learn ;)

I would get a stock car, that grandma was driving. You mention a lot of cars that have "mods" that sound like they could be huge hack jobs. Don't get an auto and don't get a car that a kid "modded".

i really like the det's. they're so easy to make power with, and they're not too hard to work on

get something rwd. why go to a different country and end up with something like you had, different country, different car. also, nissans have damn good engines. and if parts are that plentifulll, by all means go ahead for it.

i was gonna go with the toda clutch/flywheel kit (I believe it reduced it to a 223mm, but i have a stock 225mm i believe) i also have the something 51 tranny. its the factory LSD tranny whatever the ---- it is. im going back to stock clutch. i ordered it from toyota.

im lookin at a SiR II tonight (the first 5spd ive found) and the 180. i still gotta sell my car first though. :-\

The stock clutch should hold plenty well. My brother is using a 200mm clutch (we're currently using a C50) meant for my car in his 4A-GZE setup, and it's still holding like a champ. ----, it even outlasted his first 4A-GZE. As far as the flywheel goes, I'm told that the stock GZE one is the lightest of the 16V ones anyway.

jyr- stick w. the toy. they have their ups and downs. rite now my gze is being a bitch, but i have to get her ready for ''racewars'' in fontana in 2 weeks. around here (so cal), its the cool thing for all the teens to drive rwd/drift cars...and now the hondas that used to be owned by those teens are being bought and driven by mexicans that are getting into the import (rice) scene. besides, nissans are said to be the fords of japan!!!! or was it mitsubishi??
