Re:I FUCKING HATE C-CLAMPS!!!!!!
Yeah, On my mom's mazda it was the same thing. It's the adjustment mechanism... they unscrew themselves as the brakes wear down... and you have to screw them back in.

Re:I FUCKING HATE C-CLAMPS!!!!!!
most rear brakes need to be screwed in...something about how the e-brake works.

Re:I FUCKING HATE C-CLAMPS!!!!!!
use a needle nose pliers or big screwdriver to rotate the REAR piston back in. it will not go in like the front pistons.

Re:I FUCKING HATE C-CLAMPS!!!!!!
For reference, they make a sweet tool to do that with. It's like one of those brake pad ------ers for the front, except instead of just pushing, it has little nubs to fit in those grooves and to push in and turn it at the same time, takes a few seconds to reset the piston. You can borrow them from Checker and such... if needed.

Re:I FUCKING HATE C-CLAMPS!!!!!!
94+ Integras you use a screwdriver and screw in the piston. I used to change brakes on my 96' Integra about every 9 months (lots of track time). they're hard as ---- to compress (like you tried) but if you screw them in its very easy
