What do you mean there shouldn't be any legal issues? It doesn't matter if you're linking to a pointer to the torrent or to the torrent itself. You are vulnerable to the RIAA and MPAA while using bittorrent unless you use an IP blocker program, such as peerguardian.

After you have downloaded and installed a client then open the torrent file up in this program. The torrent file you downloaded isn't the movie itself. It is rather a tracker that you and other people connect to who have the actual full file(seeders) or parts of the file(leechers). Seeders are people who have the file completely downloaded and are uploading it to other people. Leechers are people who are still downloading the file which aren't 100% complete with the file(in this case is the movie TFTFTD) while also uploading to other people. That is basically what bit torrent is. Not only are you downloading it from a bunch of different people you are also uploading it at the sametime to other people. You download pieces at a time. So like say you have 50% done that doesn't mean you can load up the movie and watch half of it. Because it downloads random pieces so you could have like no full parts to watch because you have so many random pieces hard to explain here's what I mean:

The lines represent what you have done. The blank parts or space are what you haven't download/received yet. The movies will usually come rar'ed. Which splits the movie up into like 40-60 parts or .rar's(ex: .rar01, .rar02, .rar03, .rar45, ect.). You will get a .nfo(text file) which tells you about the movie you downloaded(bit rate, audio quality, imdb link, source, name, description, just basic group release information). You will also get a video sample of like 15 seconds long so you get an idea of how good the quality is. For the .rar files all you need is Win Rar or Stuffit, just load it up one of those. It will then combine all these files and create one single file(either a .bin and .cue[dvd or svcd/kvcd/vcd] or an xvid/divx/avi/mpeg/mpg file). If you have problem playing the video, download: http://www.videolan.org/ This is the absolute best divx/xvid/avi/svcd/vcd/dvd/ogm/mpeg/mp4 player out there you name it it can play it.

And for the newest releases in theater movies and dvd releases check out www.vcdquality.com. This site rates the quality of the movie being pirated(video quality, audio quality and how good the movie itself is). They also tell you what group released it and if it was nuked(which is if there is audio missing, bad ar, hissing in audio, scenes missing, different languages, subtitles, and any other bullshit that will make you avoid downloading it and wait for someone to repack it and fix what they screwed up). Very good site, check it out and read up on it if you are interested. Hope this helps some people out.

i got it DL'ed and burned to a dvd. i had to use nero 6 because the avi to dvd program i was gonna use was gonna put a big gay *** water mark right in the middle of the screen through the whole movie

just finished watching it, wasnt worth the two days it took to download it but it really wasnt that bad
damage to the cars was unrealistic, i felt like slappin the white dude every time he opened his mouth just because of his accent, and the motor swap into the stang i think was kinda gay...
but for a free movie that has to do with cars (which there are few of) i enjoyed it and will probably watch it again within the next month or so
i honestly only downloaded it to avoid paying to see it because my wife was going to make us go see it just because vin disel is in it at the end
