i fell in love today and put my kidney on ebay

I got to drive this bad boy this afternoon. No i didn't push it -at all-, but i was very content with what i got.
599 gtb - gated shifter,v12, rosa corsa on tan, cf in the most useless places...
Perfecto.
I retract my previous statements of saying i'd rather have an f1 transmission. The sound of metal on metal when you bang through the gears is ------- amazing.

Re: i fell in love today and put my kidney on ebay

my kidneys got no bids - so for now i'm stickin to what i got

Aiming for something fast and reliable though. Get my license back in a week and i'm debating if i should wait until the 6month probationary period is over or just try and contain myself.

Talk is cheap though. I'll post pics if/when i cop something.

Got to see one run around Summit Point (Local road course) at full throttle. No car sounds anything like a Ferrari V12 with webers. Family friend has a 250 Lusso, not quite as expensive, but just about as rare and beautiful. I'll take pics of his cars next time I'm up there. His neighbor collects Ferrari race cars, 330P's and such. Drives them on a regular basis

I got taste, I just keep it within my budget. :P There is a C5 ZO6 at a dealership down the street for $35k. That's more my style because I can afford it. :P Shitty thing is the dogs would destroy the interior of a ZO6 and the gf is going to want kids soon...... :3

God would I love to go buy it though.....

I wonder what full coverage insurance would be for me on a ZO6? :-X

I would love to, but I'm not sure if it's practical. :l Everytime I drive by it I drool and pop a woody. :-[

---- practicality, you only live once. It'll probably get better mileage than the Jeep, and with another cheap-good-high MPG car it'd work out great ;)

Come on man. I'm not talkin about you.

I lucked out. My girl can't have kids i don't think. Not that i'm trying but ---- it. You know how much those little bastards cost?! Then if they take after me, lawyer fees, dmv fees, ------ a - thank god my cousin is a lawyer cause my parents would be broke or i'd have a judgement in my name.

I'd grab the vette. Dumb fast with bolt ons. It's almost at the end of the depreciation cycle or bottoming out since the c6 came out. So even if you keep it for a year - sell it, you can't really lose that much cash.

And bluerex i drove a testarossa two years ago. Guy i worked with lent it to me for my birthday. First gated shifter i ever fucked with and that's when i fell in love with the cavallino.
If you have fat feet- forget that car. The pedals are so ------- close together it's retarded. Sick car though, def a classic. In terms of reliability i wouldn't touch anything older than a 360. ---- a 355 is an engine out service car....

I don't need any convincing. :P I think if I wasn't worried about the financing it would already be in my garage. :l

I'm with bluerex, but of a different car. Pininfarina is the pimpest ---- of all time.
To me, the most gorgeous car of all time is a Ferrari Dino 246.

Those lines are sex in a car. Gorgeous!

Other Pininfarina noteables are:
412 P
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...ri-330p3-2.jpg

And just to show new ---- can still be hot. Hows about the P4/5 too... Styled after the old P cars lol

That should cover the GTO pictures.. The 2nd one covers about 2/3rds of the total production run, all in France to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the car. At about $10 million a piece, +/- $5 million depending on the racing history, that is a metric ---- ton of money

And for the proof that nothing comes close to the sounds of an old Ferrari 12 cylinder,
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...27649393677735
Guy who put the camera on his Ferrari 275 GTB/4 got arrested when he showed the video to the public, but he wasn't the driver.. Un-named F1 driver was the alleged pilot. Kind of a cool story behind it

250's were the ----, but if you're lucky to find one of the 6 ever made, the Ferrari 350 GTO screams hotness. I found a few old pics from the shop I used to work for, it's a bad ---- and the car is covered in dust, but it's a Ferrari 350 GTO (no, it's not a 250 gto, many visitors tried to tell us time and time again it was, but it's not.) that was appraised at $3.3 million back in 2001 when I left that shop. I also found pics of our Porsche 962 GTP car (780hp flat 6 with a turbo the size of your head), our '49 Mercury project rod, and our 100% original Shelby version Mustang GT 350 with under 1,000 miles on the clock.

That's how the real-deal machine is too, the whole back end of the rear flips up toward the back to access the engine area. Best thing about that car was it was "technically" classified as a street legal car. Had all the working headlights/taillight/wipers required. The entire car minus driver weighed less than 1000 pounds, and had turbo lag like you wouldn't believe.

Yeah, it was one of the GTP's class requirements...had to be a street legal car lol. Of course you had to be insane if you really did try to drive it on the street, not to mention the 1" of ground clearance.
