it actually doesnt take much to bend a valve, so I hope you wernt reafing the ---- out of the motor. I say save your money and dont buy a leak down tester, just put everything together and see what happens.

you say the head never came off for the arp install? you do know once you untorque a head your are suppose to replace the headgasket.

wait, You were drunk working on it and I was drunk making that post. So what was keeping the motor from spinningwhile you were using a big bar to get the crank pulley bolt off. beacause, if you answer is nothing the real answer is probably a valve

I did a t-belt on a accord at work and just touched the vavles, sooooooo very gently. Bent two just a little but the cyl was dead at idle cant remember comp #'s the valve stems are so very small

ok i was on the crank pulley with a breaker bar, my buddy was holding another bar onthe flywheel side, his slipped so the motor turned, thats why i dont think i would have felt it, i was pulling my *** off and then it happend too quick for me to "feel if i hit a valve"....I think I may just pull the head and check it out and replace the hg while im there
