I'm trying to make myself feel better for getting ripped off so hence this thread. This is just advice to not trade with a member named 5thgencivicr from MA. AIM is vteciscoming. He has recieved the valve cover I shipped but I have not seen the ecu he promised and claims he has sent it. The tracking number given to me doesn't exist with USPS.com and none of my roommates have seen any package. I'm hoping this post will make him realize that I'm not trying to rip him off and maybe put a little pressure on him.

5thgencivicr: I will edit/delete this post and my sig when I see one of the following; my ecu, a tracking number that says that the ecu was delivered to MY address, or my valve cover.

you see.. how a mial fruad happens to have a recipt is you send it to the wrong adress it gets sent back to you and you have the proof that you sent it. so the recipt is worthless unless it prints out his address on there and it is correct. other wise you hace commited a fedral felaney and i think thats prison?

one time I used USPS and i didnt know electronic tracking number was an option. the customer was worried that the tracking number i gave him wasnt working. I emailed him a scan of the receipt immediately (and he also got his item 2 days later). Now what I dont understand is, what the ---- is so hard in showing the receipt.

God-damn poeple have no business ethics these days. As much as I hate using eGay, it has proven to have more reliable sellers than forums (from my experience) thanks to people like you.

...then where did you get the number you gave me from?

My second problem is that you claim the day and exact time it was delivered to my house in another PM which was 6/25/06 at 12:44 pm. USPS may be slow with their delivery confirmation system I understand but it is now 3 weeks later and USPS.com still has no record of this number. Did you call? Did you get an email stating it was delivered that day and time? Did you check thru the website? If so, how does it work for you and not me or SinisterCRX.

I agree with PoorMansPorsche, no one gets really defensive if they honestly shipped it. At the same time, no one is as stubborn and determined to find out where the hell this ecu went if they are trying to rip someone off.

Last but not least, knock it off with the fraud crap okay? Nailing you to the wall, albeit enjoyable, is the last of my worries. I just want something to show for doing someone a favor by giving them something I didn't need as bad as they wanted it.

Find someone with a scanner and post the reciept...send it to me CERTIFIED MAIL with required signature and 2 armed guards...or mail me 10 cent copies of what you have. Just do something so I have proof to show some postal worker that my ---- got lost. I'll even spring for the stamp and dime for the xerox if need be. Just do something to back yourself up then I'll let it be the ---- luck that it is.

WHAT THE ----? I'd have filed the complaint by 2nd week if no Product or Communication from the seller. People selling on e-GAY is supposed to have that ---- ready to send out within the week, then takes at most 1 week to arrive on the slowest delivery option (which is ground).

Ya, I am pissed off at myself for this, but 3 day after it was supposed to be in I email him asking why it was't here, then he sent it again(supposedly) I wait the other 14days shipping I paid for (Damn Hong Kong Shipping) and 3 days after that, nothing, I emailed. No response, and by this time too late to file with paypal ( I thought it was 60 day, but only 45 >:(
