lager beers are fermented at low temps. Thats what makes them a lager.

Hah.

My dad was telling me about being in Iraq and letting the canteen of welch's grape juice sit out to ferment.

He said he had a nice big canteen full, and it disappeared one day :1

It would work much better if you added a bit of sugar and some brewing yeast.

Hard cider is where it's at. Buy a ton, distill it and make apple jack 8)

yeah but they add ---- to it yeast or w/e to make it ferment

i still dont see how plane cider will ferment in a ------- fridge.. unless you got ripped off and someone sold you 3 week old ----

non-pasturized drinks contain naturally occuring bacterias/yeasts on the fruit, which when are mashed, are in the juice. this is the same way fruit forments in the wild

I don't know where the laxative things comes from but Yes it needs yeast to ferment. There is naturally occurring yeast floating around in the air, so it will eventually ferment from that. Fermenting in the fridge will just take longer. I would suggest using berwers yeast so you know it will turn out fine. You could easily get a gallon of cider(no preservatives) from the store, toss in a one dollar packet of dry brewers yeast in, and let it ferment and get booze. No guarantee on taste though.

yeah, you for sure need some yeast in that ----. yeast and corn sugar (or table sugar), both of which I have spare of. pay for shipping. lmk.
