I've seen Greddy kits that have a fitting that connects the turbo oil return to the oil pan drain plug. :-\

Yeah I think as long as the turbo is higher than the place the drain enters the pan, it should still work. Even if it is lower in the pan where the oil is.

can't see it not backing up unless it's running super low oil pressure

it doesn't matter how low on the pan the oil drain is, as long as the turbo sits higher than the oil puddle in the oil pan.

Just like when you siphon gas, as long as the gas tank is higher than where its going to, it'll drain

And the oil is going through at like 40 psi.

look at your dipstick sometime, k thanks. when running, yeah the level is lower, but that thing sits down at oil pickup level.

if you got 40psi in your return tube you got problems :-X

my first setup had a low pan return, never had a problem with it.

you gotta remember that oil circulates from the pan via the oil pickup, so in a way having it like that does pull the oil from the return.

Re: I bet the return drains into this pan well!

turbos shouldnt see much more then what like 25psi of oil pressure, without a restrictor when u start the car 75psi of oil pressure is going through it. either way its not draining fast enough as it should.
