smog... have never passed any ------ of my cars, my girls car always passes cuz the simple carb legal bolt ons (I/H)...
you shoulda been failed if that b20 isnt in a crv, only motor you cant ref out here. im pretty sure its all of cali as we should share the same smog laws.
you should have failed on visual.
the part of getting it hot is correct, but if theres a leak before the cat they are supposed to fail you, anything after the cat is ok.
