Re:i am ...56k, go home
whats a pilot truck driver anyways? I went to college for 2 years and the first job i got i made $2400-$2600 a month... not too bad, but my friends, who hadnt gone to college are still making like $7/hr, $10/hr... its tough , and their is no future in what they are doing. More companies care about degrees and ---- than they do experience, which is not always a good thing. If youre really really good at a trade such as a plumber or bricklayer/tile guy you can do very well for yourself too, some friends of mine do that and some make more than i do. Just remember, college isnt for everybody but it sure is a great way to go.

Happy B-day..
Here is a little Birthday advice. For the Majority of people, College means ----. Unless you have a SPECIFIC career path in mind and plan to do just that. College is absolutely necessary if you want to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer or anything highly specialized, but the majority of people going don't know what they want to do and are just doing it for a worthless piece of paper. 4-5 years later, they're broke, in debt and STILL can't get a decent job. 80% of Fortune 500 CEO's have a degree.. In LIBERAL ARTS! The MOST important thing is knowing the right people. Networking and impressing your parents friends that have hook-ups. It doesn't matter if you have a degree, all that does is get you past the HR dept. If you know someone in the company, THAT will get you in. If you don't believe me, I don't have any degrees and I have a nice job as a Network Administrator. I taught myself everything I know at previous jobs and home and I know quite a few others in the same boat, while my friends back home with degrees are still working for their parents or at the same job they had in college..

happy birthday. school is boring i am in my fourth year and i cant get a job for my life i would love a little pizza job that paid five hundred a week. but instead i work fifteen hours a week and do nothing but play on the computer at my job. and to top off the crappy pay. i get paid once a month only. i say take any job you want if it will make you happy. you can go to college whenever you want it is not as if there is an age limit, or nightime classes and weekend classes for those who work to survive yet seek a degree.
