Hyper Ground System - Stereo people help!

Let me paint all you guys (and gals) a little picture.

I had recently installed a complete stereo into my 88 CRX Si. 2 amps, 1 12" sub front comp rear coaxs the whole shot.

Excited with my new install I turn the key too ACC and it sounds amazing!

The next day I get into my car and turn her on. During the drive to work I listened to the stereo. I noticed a ground noise sound coming from the front speakers only. The noise gets worse when I am coasting in gear to slow the car. It's very freakin annoying. I want to add that I also have 8ga wires from each amp to a ground block which has 4ga to the ground source.

Then I saw an ad for this hyper ground system. Looks like a good idea and it might help with the loop by letting the engine's electrics flow better. My question is. How do they do these sets. It's not just thicker wires in stock locations is it?

Another question. Where do all you guys ground your amps if u own a CRX?

Thanks guys/gals...

the wire is grounded out itself to eliminate the zinging sound

Are you positive it isn't road noise? If so, you can get rid of that by using a spray-on truck bedliner (instead of expensive Dynamat ----)

what?

and its DEFINATELY NOT road noise. It's coming from the speaker. But thanks.

re check all your wiring there is something exposed thats grounding somewhere.

Truck liner is good but dont get the spray kind get the one you roll on.

you mean like a power wire from the bat? or a remote turn on lead? or a ground wire?

thanks again.

Are you using oxygen-free wires?

It might sound funny, but how old are your spark plug wires? It may be time for some new ones. Spark plug wires are designed to eliminate/reduce any stereo interfierance, but if they are old or even the factory wires you can get noise through the speakers, especially when running an amp.
if this is the problem, just get new wires, or they sell distorion filters you could wire into the speaker to try and eliminate the noise.
good luck ;)

wires are 1 year old. I dont want to use a noise filter because that is not a correct fix. Sure it may work, but I want it to work w/o having things that I shouldn't need.

Im gunna try it w/o the ground dist block. I think its a POS and is restricting ground path.
